Sunway Property launches Sunway Majestic with 70% of buyers from Malaysia, 30% from Singapore

The project includes multi-tiered security systems. Connectivity is strengthened with a dedicated shuttle service to the RTS, a sidewalk link to Hutan Bandar, and access to bordering shopping centers, schools, and healthcare amenities. It is adjacent to Sunway Commercial Square, a retail hub for shopping and dining to be taken care of by Sunway Malls.

Buyers to date mirror Johor Bahru’s cross-border profile, with 30% Singaporeans and 70% Malaysians (of which 60% work inside Singapore). Purchases are primarily for own stay (70%), with 30% for investment.

Sunway Majestic is also section of Sunway Property’s The BIG Deal campaign, featuring 16 Signature Projects and New Launches across Klang Valley, Johor, Ipoh, and Penang. Running from now until Nov, the project supplies RM10 million in cash rewards, alongside exclusive plans and buyer incentives.

” Property buyers here are discerning and assume long term,” said Gerard Soosay, Sunway Property Ceo (Southern Region). “Johor Bahru’s appeal is real, however assumptions are greater: neighborhoods need to be risk-free, connected, and versatile to cross-border lifestyles. That is the requirement we are constructing towards. Our duty as Malaysia’s Master Community Developer is to meet this progressing landscape with a lasting sight, co-investing in the locations we develop and staying real to our promise of being With You For Generations.”

Sunway Majestic notes Sunway Property’s first development in JBCC and the city centre’s very first SOHO apartments. Sunway Majestic has 1- to 3-bedroom SOHO units starting off at RM400,000, with the choice to customise under Sunway Property’s special Design to Own idea. This rate point sits well within the selection looked for by 72% of evaluated buyers (RM1 million and listed below), the Sunway news release claims.

According to a private research by Milieu, ordered by Master Community Developer Sunway Property (June 2025) to gauge Singaporeans’ interest in Johor real estates, nearly half (48%) of surveyed property seekers are thinking about Johor Bahru for their next purchase– 83% of whom already own property in Singapore.

Johor is taking advantage of significant plan and framework catalysts. The Johor– Singapore Special Economic Zone (JS-SEZ), formalised previously this year, is expected to bring in considerable investment and business circulations. Meanwhile, the RTS Link, linking Bukit Chagar (JB) to Woodlands (Singapore) by late 2026, will trim cross-border trip to simply 6 minutes.

Sunway Property has recently released Sunway Majestic, its first development in Johor Bahru City Centre (JBCC) and the city hub’s very first SOHO apartment or condos. With property period, a place just 3 km from the upcoming Johor Bahru– Singapore Rapid Transit System (RTS) Link, and alongside Sunway Commercial Square, the property is purposefully placed for both own-stay purchasers looking for city-centre convenience and clients looking to capture cross-border leasing requirement.
